The Geezer

Hi all! for those who follow..sorry for the wait! I had to pick back up on car project that's been sitting in the driveway..(I needed the break anyhow). Here's the first one I cast and painted. He's quite tan from hanging out at the horse tracks all day. I've cast up several more copies and will surely experiment with various paint jobs. hope you like!

Experimental Mummy

Here's one design I'm kicking around over here. The face is latex, and its joined to a head sock that slips over the entire head. Just some fun experimental stuff...

My internship with Immortal Masks!

Well, I  haven't posted in a while! I took some time away from The Creep Factory to apprentice at a silicone mask company (Immortal Mask's) I learned the entire process for making mask's like these from start to finish. I think it was quite interesting, and these mask's are totally cool. They are very high end mask's, and beyond the budget for most home haunters. This stuff is geared more towards the professional haunt industry.I hear this is the future of mask's anyhow. I did not sculpt the mask in the photos, but I did paint it. We will see what the future holds for me as far as working in silicone!

Back To Work!

Well, had a nice break from the Creep Factory, but now it's time to get back into the swing. I'm really happy about the new compressor I just scored! Its a dream compared to what I had been using. My old one was very noisy, making it virtually impossible to paint late at night. It's better suited for nail guns and stuff like that.  This new one is basically as quiet as a refrigerator when it refills its tank. I must have good karma, because I got this for a song! It's basically new, lightly used by an art student for a semester. The kids dad even threw in 2 Iwata air brushes!!! I paid $150.00 total. I couldn't hand him the cash fast enough! Life is good.
